Flight Instruction
East Coast Aero Club provides high-quality instruction for all pilot ratings in both airplanes and helicopters, including Private Pilot, Instrument, Multi-Engine (airplane), Commercial, ATP, Instructor, Instrument Instructor, and Multi-Engine (airplane) Instructor.

We offer a special introductory helicopter lesson package that includes some emailed reading material, ground school at Hanscom Field, and then a hands-on flight with an instructor that includes the prestart checklist, starting up the helicoper, hovering, takeoff, mid-air flight (you’ll do most of this), landing, parking, and cooldown/shutdown. The package price is $225 for an experience that most humans on the planet will never have: controlling a helicopter.

We have over 20 certified flight instructors, including 9 flight instructors with over 3000 hours of flying time.
